My uncle took this picture this morning. He couldn't get them all into one shot but tried to get as many as he could. An amazing sight!

Nice piture.I have spotted Tule Elk at San Luis Res, East Park Res and on a country road by the Hwy 680 ridge line. When I first saw them off of Hwy 680 I had to stop and back up because I didn't beleive my own eyes.

Great picture! It's nice to see a nice sized herd of Tule Elk roaming around. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pic. I have always loved elk. The only word that comes to mind when I see them is "majestic". I have been known to spend hours on end just glassing and listening to them call when I see them in the Owens Valley.

In the first and third pictures you can see my Foxpro on the ground in front of the Tule Elk. Foxpro's elk calf in distress drives the Tule Elk Cows crazy.
This cow and calf ran about 800 yards in no time to check out the elk calf in distress sound.
