Hi Members.Well, guess this "secret" should be told;http://www.lasc.us/ Has many articles,as well as a book on bullet casting. Or just about anything you want to know about casting/molding your own. Please, poke around. It it a very good reference,as well as Greybeard Outdoors (GBO) forums. They have Cast bullet forum, as well as Veral Smith (of LBT) forum.Veral Smith does also know his stuff.I was 45454 there.(Gold/Prospecting forum)Enjoy :harhar1[1]:

Alot of usefully information there. Even if you don't cast your own it sure sets let's you know things that can help you decide on which commercially cast bullets to buy.
My guns are mine, they aren't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like. So I guess the government is **** out of luck.

The old guys up at LASC are a wealth of information. I got my Black Powder bullet lube recipe from one of the old codgers there, and it is just as good or better than the gold standards for sale, and costs virtually nothing to make. Here are my two extremes in casting - a 40 grain bullet for .22 long rifle silhouette ( I load my own black powder .22's ) next to a 525 grain bullet for 45-70 BPCR silhouette.Posted Image

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally,… you might live in a country founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

Don't forget the Cast Boolits site also. There is a cast boolit shoot every year in Nevada called, guess, the Nevada Cast Boolit Shoot held in Winnemucca every year. This year we all decided it should be in June instead of May and if you are interested in having a fun time shooting cast this is a premier event to attend. We have a bunch of fun shoots and comps and I always manage to bring a few sets of sillywets, big and small, to knock about and then we have a long range event that is always interesting. A great time and gathering of the cast boolit gang from most of the western states. PM me if you want to know more about it or go to the Cast Boolits site and check it out......Walt http://castboolits.gunloads.com
I like beautiful women, fine wine and poking dead things with a stick!"If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous. If I have a gun, what in the hell do I have to be paranoid for."Socialism is not a Republic.
