Just saw these on Hornady's website. Hornady's disclaimer: Disclaimer: Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is NOT a toy (IT IS LIVE AMMUNITION), but is intended only to be used on…ZOMBIES, also known as the living dead, undead, etc. No human being, plant, animal, vegetable or mineral should ever be shot with Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition. Again, we repeat, Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is for use on ZOMBIES ONLY, and that's not a nickname, phrase or cute way of referring to anybody, place or thing. When we say Zombies, we mean…ZOMBIES!The claim is that when shot with the Z-MAX, dead is permanent. You Tube Video for Hornady's Z-MAXIt must work, after all have you seen a Zombie lately. They also sell Z-MAX bullets for reloading. The claim is that the jackets are made using AMP's new process. What the heck is this new jacket like?If someone has tried the Z-MAX 17 caliber bullets please post your results.

Their loaded ammo has been out for some time now. Are these bullets really any different from a V-Max? I mean they have a green tip and a cannelure but what else is so different?http://www.californi...d...st&p=238022

On another forum they say the only difference between them and the V Max is the green tip. Havent read any reports as of yet.

Just a clever marketing technique. The handgun ammo looks like the critical defense round. Has an eye catching box. Hey why not? How many Zombie movies are made every year? Gotta love the ad video. :D
