I've been able to avoid hunting in the No-Lead Condor Zone but that may change next week.I don't reload so I need recommendations for nonlead ammo I can buy retail that would work well in my Tikka T3 Lite .243 for coyotes.Anybody? (Well, anybody but Bisley, that is! I don't want him to blow a gasket on this topic. )

Also interested in brand name .223 or .22-250 nonlead ammo recommendations. Anybody?

I've used Federal non-lead .243 that I bought at Wal-mart. I think it's loaded with 85 grain Barnes X bullets? It's close to 40 bucks for a box of 20. Shot pretty decent in my Tikka.

Give DA Bob a PM. he may have tried some store bought ammo. I shot a few 80gr Hornady GMX hand loads, but not store bought. Good luck.

hey mtn dog. I have been using Barnes TSX and Hornady GMX in 223 and they have been working well for me. I started using the TSX for predators, but after a fox that literally exploded after I shot it I switched over to try the GMX. They worked great for me. Minimal pelt damage on the 2 foxes and bobcat I have shot with them. Other than the price I have no complaints
