Just curious. Spent a day up there wandering around (okay - driving around the 20 and the 16, but some short walks). Even saw a herd of elk. It seems pretty accessible, as a whole, other that all access roads closed off off of the 20 and the 16. Seems like this area would probably get flooded during deer season. Anyone have any experience in that area? Also - FYI, the open BLM land up there is currently posted no target shooting, hunting only. IS that normal for that area, even outside the wilderness part of it?
How crazy does the Cache Creek area BLM land get during deer season?

That no target shooting is very common on land like this to keep people from shooting and leaving junk.

All tho CCWA is a big place to hunt you would be surprised to how many people are actually scattered threw out the area on any given day, and during deer season this place is crazy, I dont normally hunt the area but I have a buddy that was out there on opening day of deer season 2 years back and he said he ran into about 18 people that were hunting and about 10 people that were just out enjoying the area, He said he didnt even see a living animal, the whole day..lol so to answer your question yes it gets crazy...
