My wife got me the filson upland vest that i wanted for a coyote hunting vest. Took it out the other day and it works great. I use the game bag to put the caller in and plenty of pockets for calls, gloves, rope camera. This thing is built out of oilskin. Very tough. you wont bust a seam or wear it out. Only comes in this color, which I don't think is a big deal. Has a waist belt and a breast bone belt to keep it in position on long hikes. Has shell loops in 2 pockets and a interior pocket to put your wallet etc,, in. Expensive @ 185.00, but you wont ever buy another very tough..Attached File  post_3_1324436758.jpg   16.6KB   11 downloads

Sure looks like the " Carhart " of vests! The price seems a little high, but I guess its like any other good piece of equip.. buy once, cry once. Looks good!

Filson is the top of the line for vests and hunting clothing. My pals in the Pacific North West swear by them and thier quality. I would choose Cabelas over Filson...until I win the lottery. Filson seems to be made for colder climates... :two-cents:

Filson has been around a long time. Think they started out making stuff for loggers. Top quality all the way, hence the high price.think every thing is still made here in tyhe USA. It will last you and your grandsons. Ed
