Im just curious if anyone knows the reason why they dont tell you where there is water sources in the desert?Im guessing because they are affraid that they will get contaminated by people, maybe? Well I guess thats logical, but they dont even sell a map with a few water sources marked on it? I think thats out of line since people do go and explore and wonder. Things can happen you can get turned around and die out there. I think thats just wrong for of them not to at the very least have a few marked on a map just for the cases!

Because the Govenor hasen't got his hands on the water rights yet, when he does the price will go up so the congress can steal some also.Tom

Because they don't want people hunting over them because it's illegal.

Technically it is only Illegal to hunt over a guzzler (within 200yds) for more than 30min. You can stand right on top of the guzzler and shoot quail for 29 minutes.I dont recommend it though

Yeah Dave but I believe the reason they don't post them is the reason I gave. Because they don't want people hunting over them. Not everyone adheres to the law.

It's pretty easy to locate them on BLM, just look for tire tracks through the grass with a sign saying closed to vehicles. lol

Come on Turkeyman, you haven't been looing in the right places. Down here in the desert you just need to look for the blue flags, our government is nice enough to leave water out for all of those nice people hiking in the desert heading North.
