With the recent threads on e callers (one in particular a very generous one) I've been snooping around at options. The FoxPro Firestorm offers 50 free sounds of your choice with the caller purchase. Since e-callers are a no no in California for everything (I think) except coyotes/fox/bobcat what would be a prudent sound selection? there are around 300 sounds available, though interesting I'm a little leary of a Lion call or a laughing Hyena ;-)

No fox with the ecaller. You can use them for crows though.

Rabitt distress, rodents, Birds, Kittens are all good sounds. But one sound that you have to have is Mtn Lion in heat. Makes a camping trip with Guys that dont know you have the caller forget to zip up as they run back to the fire. Also great on the porch at Halloween.. But as John mentioned, make sure you know the legalities of E-Callers. Good luck.

Yes, this, like lots of topics gets discussed semi regularly...Anyway, I'm not sure what I would do with 50-300 choices. I'm already on a stand for 30 +/- minutes. It would take me hours (on a stand) with that many sounds. LOLWell, I will try & list some of the FoxPro sounds "I" like &/or have. There are sounds by other folks also, such as Varmint Al, Randy Anderson(which I also have), & others. Anyway, I replace some of my sounds now & then, so what I have today may be gone tomorrow. With that in mind...Wabbits... L00, Lightning Jack; L03, Snow Shoe 1; L50, Scream-N Rabbit; 354, DSG Cottontail DistressBirds........ 290, Lucky Bird Distress (woodpecker); 530, Magpie Fight; 270, Crow Fight; 296, Quail Distress; B85, Titmouse TantrumRodents.... 249, Rodent Distress; Coyote Vocals... 207, Coyote Locator; 100, Growling Coyote; 101, Coyote Group; 184, Coyote Male Challenge 4; 183, Coyote Challenge Howl; C17, Female Whimpers; C19, Female Coyote Long Howl 1; C22, Coyote Pup Screams; C27 Coyote Pup Distress 3Deer........... 361, Blacktail Fawn Distress; 255, Fawn CryMisc............
