Decided to re-do my Diana's stock since she has seen better days. I've seen some great results with people spraying their stocks w/ truck bedliner in a can on multiple forums so I decided to give it a try. This is my first adult airgun that I got from my parents when I was 16 (29 now). It was initially a .177 but I had it re-barreled since I wanted more knock-down power on ground squirrels.Since getting into PCPs, I've been neglecting my last springer I have left. I didn't get to go hunting yesterday because of the wind so I went to work on my stock. Thought it came out very nice. I also sanded down the shroud and put on some vinyl carbon fiber wrap. Now I want to spray my .22 marauder stock the same way. Here are some pictures of the completed project that took about 2-3 hours yesterday. I just sanded with 220 grit sandpaper, taped the stock inlet and applied two light coats. Wish I would have taken before pictures..Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImageAnyways, thanks for looking,Henry

I really enjoy Coyote hunting. It's very exciting calling in a wild animal. I also try to practice with my .45's as much as I can. I am a member of the NRA and the CRPA.

Awesome Job! You've motivated me to look around my house to see what I can spray with bed liner.

That looks real nice.I sprayed my 243 stock once with it and it had bites of rubber in the finish didn't come out nice like yours. That's a sweet looking air rifle is that type of barrel standard on those models ?

No that is not a standard barrel. I had a machinist Rich in Mich make the shroud for me when I had my rifle converted to .20 from .177.This is what it pretty much looked like before (Sold this gun in .22 a couple months ago)...Posted ImageHenry

Try custom auto shops or ordering online. If I were to do it again I would use 3D Carbon Fiber 3M vinyl wrap in gloss. The stuff I used I got for free,Henry

Thanks for the info. How about the noise reduction? I have an RWS 460, and love to reduce the noise.

It's actually pretty quiet for putting out 20 fpe. I think it's the quietest springer I've shot that I've had..it has a Vortek kit and piston seal too.
