Hey everybody-Super excited to be here, and to have found this resource. I'm a 29 year old pre-med student who has fairly recently begun shooting (used to spearfish a ton).Looking forward to making some contacts and building upon my skills as a hunter. As of now, I am a small game guy with a 20 gauge. I love hunting birds and rabbits. I'm in Santa Barbara mostly, and Los Angeles every few weeks. Glad to be here, and hello to everyone :)Matt

Welcome upland. look forward to hunting tails. :bleh[1]:
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Welcome. Pre med and hunting is tough to do but you will find time. I'm switching careers and studying pre dental so I understand.

As of now, I am a small game guy with a 20 gauge. I love hunting birds and rabbits.

Welcome to the forum Matt. Ive been hunting with a 20 gauge remington 1100 for 19 years now. I got it when i was 10. Ive hunted everything from Rabbits to Quail to Doves to Pheasants to Coyotes and Foxes with it with GREAT success. Ive recently decide to buy an 870 12 gauge pump cause the deal was too good to pass up and thought i would step up from the 20. HA yeah i stepped up. Now the shotgun is heavier(a little bit) the ammo weighs more and the thing doesnt swing or point like my nice little 20 gauge. Now my new 12 gauge sits in the truck as a backup. Dont let anybody knock the 20 gauge. I smoke my dad and my friends (all shooting 12s) dove hunting every year with my little 20. They hate it. Good Luck in this wonderful sport. Enjoy
