I was wondering if anyone on here do any hunting at the Mendota Wildlife Area? My brother and I was out there on 11/19 for the pheasant and duck combo. I ended up with one pheasant and one mallard. That was it. Pretty bad if you ask me. I didn't have a dog and I didn't think that made a difference. There were almost 200 hunters out there and the ones that had a dog didn't really get anything as well.

I was told duck hunting was really good over by Los Banos early in the season. Not sure about now, but 3 of my neighbors got limits a couple times in the wildlife areas surrounding Los Banos. As for pheasants, I took a shot at one on my uncle's property yesterday afternoon, but he was too far out. First rooster I've seen all year (in California)... :lol:

Anyone here do any geese hunting at either Eastman or Hensley Lake?
