I'm looking for a portable shooting bench. I've been to a couple of net sites and the Doatactical bench looks good to me. It aint cheap but it looks solid and it rotates all around. The DOA people are also flogging Doggone good Bags as a good rifle rest solution. The bags look rather bulky to someone who's only used metal tri-pod type rifle rests. Does anybody have any advice, comments, or experience with this stuff?

Sharpshooter do a search on here. There have been at least a few great ideas on here.Including using a walker that worked great!

The potrable benches being sold are often bulky and hard to move around. Not knowing your intended purpose, Id reccommend building a portable bench yourself. All you need is a 1/2 a sheet of Plywood, and a set of folding table legs. Total cost is usually only abot $35. Good luckPosted Image

I picked up the Caldwell Stable Table for $160 at Cabelas and replaced the top with an L bench for about $20. Rotates 360.Posted Image
