Has anyone ever duck hunt over at Rahaugee's recently in Corona?I had some friends go out to San Jacinto for the opener and they said it was pretty hot and no large numbers of birds.

They were 23 on the sweatline, so I imagine by the time they got to the blinds, the ducks had already figured it out.

We were #24 on the refill at San Jacinto. Didn't get out until 1030 and it was all over by then. Stayed 'til quiting time and my partner got 1 teal and I didn't even fire a shot.

Thats pretty what my buddy told me about his day out there. So you must have for seen my friend there then. I couldn't make it out there do to work, but I guess it wasn't bad thing. But still, I would have much rather have been out there, than be at work.

I finally made it out today and I've never seen so many spoonies in my life! Easy limits. :signlol2iu:

My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.

We also had an awesome opener in the No. Grasslands. More birds around than I've seen in 40 years. I shot both Sat/Sun of opening weekend and Wed. in the wind plus yesterday. Limits every day. We've been lucky enough to get our Sprig limit every time but that is about to change with the November doldrums. Lots of Widgeon around. Between my partner and I we shot 6 yesterday and 5 Wed. plus 7 opening weekend. The widgeon are nice and fat.
