Worked my butt off for an impressive buck to bring home. Passed on a few small ones but never saw an impressive one dead or alive this year. There were many forks(and most small ones) and some small 3 pointers killed as well a a few spindly 4 pointers. That is why they call it hunting and not harvesting. You hunt(kill) and animal and you harvest a crop of plants.Had a good time and hunted hard for 2.5 weeks approx. Got some nice photos but no deer.Attached File  2.jpg   29.7K   15 downloads

Great stuff. Hey you seen way more than me this year.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Am I alone in wondering why in the world you bother to have an ice chest outside your trailer, let alone two of them? Just how cold does your beer have to be?

It would have been colder if I had left the tops open.....and free ice. Those were there since before opening day when it was not snowing. One held meat etc to cook and the other water, sodas and a few beer. I am not much of a beer drinker. The hard stuff was in the trailer. But only after the days hunt was over and we were watching DVD's and relaxing. No drinking and driving or drinking and guns for me.

The best part of camping in the snow is lining up the beers in the snow, and then trying to find them in the morning.
