My brother just sent me an e-mail with these pictures. He let a guy we know bring his son out on our property to do a little deer hunting today. He isn't a monster, but Mat says the smile on his face that he loved it all the same. Some neat kickers, too. Not sure on the range or caliber, but I did send back an e-mail asking.Attached File  deer_040.jpg   62.87K   71 downloads Attached File  deer_041.jpg   81.08K   69 downloads Attached File  deer_039.jpg   49.75K   68 downloads

Tell your brother to get the boy's face in the pictures, LOL There's no better trophy than a picture of a kid with his deer.

I got that photo edited and back up. Notice the license plate?? Sounds like he shot the buck from one of our tree stands at around 60 yards. Yes, he was excited. I think this was the second deer he's ever shot. Hopefully his dad will bring him back out with an antlerless only deer tag and get a nice fat corn fed doe for the freezer.

That's great. He's got his camo and hunter's orange for safety. I'm sure he'll be hunting for many years to come. Good choice on the license plate.S&S

Not poking fun at the gear...I grew up hunting in WA where you had no choice but to dress like a carrot. I myself am still a orange guy for upland and big game hunting here in CA. S&S

It just doesn't get much better than that. Watching the smile on a kid's face after a successful hunt.... PRICELESS! Happy Hunting, rick
