Hello seasoned hunters. New to forum and am a first time hunter in ca zone D8. Was wondering if anybody has an opinion about the moon cycle and hunting. Im thinking that the less moon the better as the animals might not move as much as with a full moon due to less light. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's been my experience that when there is a dark night (Overcast etc.) the deer trend to stay out longer in the morning than a clear night.

I think it depends what kind of animal you are hunting.

I think everyone would feel more comfortable with "seasoned hunters".

Going out for deer in D8. Thanks for all the input. Hopefully I will post about a successful trip when I get back.
