On a previous post I told you all about my gaining access to land this past weekend. I'm back again to tell all the "timid" hunters that find it hard to pull up to the unknown and ask for permission DON'T GIVE UP! I had the best weekend/week of my life. I was scared to approach people less than a year ago. Never loose hope, the next great access is the next ranch you ask, if not, its the next one.I say that because I know how you feel. I told you about the "goat" guy before, I say never loose hope because crazy things can happen. I never would've had the oppertunity that I have now had I not put myself out there. You can too! The goat guys father just called me out of the blue. He says he got my number from "joe" and he asks, you like to hunt coyotes? I said yes sir, he tells me " I have a grazing pasture in lokeford here's the directions, its .5 mile wide and 2 miles deep. I see 7 yotes virtually every time I'm out there. I know its not a big piece of land but you'll get em out there for sure! Good luck son and thanks for the help" he says.Cloud nine to say the least! I can't believe I got this call! I was shaking with excitent while talking to him.Never give up on your personal quest for access, you may score what you only thought in your dreams.... It just happened to me! Good hunting Carlos

My grandpa was a gun collector. people used to ask him how he found so many old guns? they thought He must spend all his time at shows and swapmeets. but the truth is he would talk to everyone he met. and always ask if they had any old guns or knew of anyone who had them. congrats on finding the right spot! Thats great. Good job.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
