Met an old college buddy on the American. We were in his driftboat. A week ago 2 other boats on the river, yesterday 25+ boats. We chose to stay away from the combat fishing and found a run NO other boats. we went 7-8 on the one run. I boated two chuck kept two, Nothing big but we put 7 cookie cutter kings in the boat all 10 - 12 lbs. We each kept our two fish limits. We filleted them so last PM I finished cleaning salting and brown sugar as the brine. When I get home this afternoon I will rinse dry and smoke the salmon.

That's great! My first of this season was a 30 pounder (about 4 weeks ago), and we've landed 9 since then, all in the 8-12 range. I've been out every weekend, and we're pounding them! It's only going to get better. October is here!Attached File  1.jpg   19.99KB   8 downloadsThere's no smile, because it was heavy!

Nise fish. Sounds like a lot of fun.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
