I went out with my buddy to a private ranch this morning earlier in the season we saw only a few spikes well today he got a buck.I told him since the place holds a lot of doe's and the rut is in the beginning stages we might find a buck with them and he did.He shot it with a 300 mag e- tips at 50 yards running he gave it 2 warning shot at first lol. It's a small 3x3..I gut it for him and we brought it to my ranch to skin.I finely got to use my home made hitch hoist!now it's my turn I hope.......Posted ImagePosted Image hole going in is huge!Posted Image

That was really nice and sporting of him to give some warning shots first. :smiley-outta-here: Nice buck.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

I would've kept the coyote & left the deer. But hey, that's just me! :smiley_kewlpics: :signs1180lq: Frank

3 coyotes ruined my hunt today me and my friend was side hilling a big canyon and just when we saw a nice fork horn buck coyotes started howling at us.We tried to get into position and get closer to make a 300 yard shot . Then the doe'ss ran towards the coyotes and the buck looked at us and took off. These 3 coyotes were 2 hundred yards away and they were going at it giving us a challenge or warning howl I never seen anything like this before. Then an hour later as I walked further I saw a few doe's and another coyote staring down at them this place is just over ran with dogs.I am going back next weekend to put a smack down on these bastards!

Way to go on the buck! Some times I switch from deer hunting to coyote hunting on the same hunt. :D
