Sure did enjoy it. Got a slap mark on my arm from my string though. Tried out new arrows on this shoot. Note to self: Never try out new arrows on a shoot. Lost a nock, a field point, and split an arrow...I shot another arrow into it. Still don't know how I did it....Attached File  1.jpg   29.92KB   3 downloads

I'm glad you were able to participate. I'd love to see that split arrow photo but it won't open. Any chance you can post it via Photobucket?

I'll try to load it. My iPhone is sending pics as text messages to my email so I'm having some trouble. I'll see what I can do.About $450 was raised at the event for the charity. If anyone is interested you can donate to the Wounded Warrior project here is the website: http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/

Thanks Thumper and SportyG!It was fun.Hey Thumper I did get a Robin Hood at about 10 yards. But I was told that since I had attempted a few shots that it didn't count. Your supposed to only take 2 shots to qualify for a "TRUE" Robin Hood; don't know if that is true or not. Oh well.

That's pretty good shooting almost all robin hoods are on accident too many arrows in the target . I cry when I get one. Like Red Dog said all I see is dollars.A robin hood is a robin hood no matter how arrows you have shot. They just don,t like it because a lady can shoot.

Thanks Thumper and Red Dog!Well, Thumper, I was criticized because another lady got it with supposedly just two shots and apparently it was a lady that is a girlfriend of the guy who is a moderator on the hunting forum in the South. There ya go. Lot of jealousy and animosity on that forum. I think they have their cliques and that is the way it is there. Big difference in the way I'm treated on this forum as opposed to that one. Much more respect from you guys than Southern men, I have to say.Good night everyone!

I have never used wooden arrows (I still ride my bow with training wheels) but I am very surprised at the strength of them. You would think the wood would split before it would allow another on to be stuck in it. I must say, very impressed with both the durability of the older style wooden arrows AND, OF COURSE, the shot. I'm lucky if I get two on the same target, let alone on top of each other. Always impressed (and humbled) seeing the talent displayed here with the "primitive" bows. Great job, both the shot and what you did to help our soldiers :signs1180lq:

Bisley, this is true. Just my experience with Southern men......not good. But not all men are created equal. I am Southern gal but I always thought differently and have evolved quiet a bit since living in Cali.I just dont' like men that lie and cheat. Period. And I don't want to be someone's mama and maid. Period. That's all I'll say on that subject. :roflmao3[1]:

Thanks Shoot-It! Not even worth it. Some of those folks on that forum have their own agendas. I am not particpating on there that much anyway. When I get my first kill I'll post some pics then be on my way just to shut up some of them who have no other life than on that forum. Some people are just miserable and have to make everyone else feel the same.
