Hello all. I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say hi.I've been building ARs for a little while now and my BRD is getting worse
!! I'm currently in the process of building two carbines and an A2. I'll probably finish them up this weekend and I'll post some pics when they're done. I'll probably need to slow down a little as I picked up six Spikes lowers last month from my local gun shop for $99 each (the next day they were audited by the ATF....
).

Hey! I'm not alone.I got my lowers from Drew's Precision Reloading off Palmdale. I ordered all the other parts online.

I got my S&W AR15 from there. They are pretty cool but I think a little pricey. Didnt you say you bought 6 lowers from them. We should meet up sometime!

They are pretty pricey on some guns. They were running a special on the lowers for $99, that's why I picked up 6. They have good deals on reloading supplies though. We definitely should meet up sometime. I usually go out to the desert every weekend for target shooting or Jack hunting. Ill PM you my number.

Nice rifles. I just built a 20" A2 recently, Im a sucker for those 20" A2's........classic look. What upper did you use for yours? I did the DMPS A2 from midway and despite all the horror you read about them it has been flawless and quite accurate. I keep them clean and well lubed.

I agree, the A2s are a classic. I also used DPMS for my A2 upper. It works great, not a single problem so far and it is very accurate. I think they are as good as some of the more expensive ones. Plus I have more money left over to buy ammo.
