This week in Victoria, AU has been a record breaker for warm winter weather. What's normally the coldest time of year has people out in Tshirts and swimming at the beaches.. it's crazy! The plan today was to snipe a feral cat I know has been hunting rabbits along the creek but he was a no show, but the rabbits were out enjoying the sun in good numbers, so I took a few before dark and heading home. Shots were between 70 and 150 yards.Posted ImageRecently upped the charge for the 204 loads from 28.7 to 28.9 grains of H8495 pushing a 32gr. V-max and the accuracy of this load is exactly what I was chasing, with 3 shot groups now consistently inside 5mm. Posted ImageThe little V-max took the center bunnies head clean off and shredded the heads on the other two. The almost non-existent recoil of the 204 makes for an entertaining scope picture when it happens :signlol2iu:
