I just got to try out bass fishing a few days ago and Im hooked. I got hooked up with a monster only to lose it due to fishing 2lb trout line lol. But I will be back to the lil secret pond by my house and catch that monster. Its not like he can be far since the pond is about the size of half a football field or smaller like in the infield of a mens baseball dimond.Any advice on technic and tackle is welcomed.

Nothing like that feeling when line starts peeling off your reel that's for sure. Even if you catch and release, you better at least get us a picture. Good luck. As for advice on gear, I always recommend this stuff no matter the species of fish............... It works every time! Posted Image

As Far as advice.... Fish 12 pound test with a 5 to 6 foot medium action rod. Use a top water plug like a 6 inch Rapalia. After it hits the water make it look like an injured fish. Do not just let the lure set there. Be very active with the lure. Not slow like a sick fish, fast like an injured fish.I have won a ton of money and tournaments using this exact tactic. Bisly's method is too noisy (scares the fish) . If its a small pond just dump two or three gallons of bleach in the water.

. I like rubber worms ,any dark color. We are going to need pictures.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
