just wanted to share a pic of what i'm packing in the truck tomorrow when i'm off work. my dad and i are going to be spending a day riding around and shooting near stampede reservoir on saturday. sunday we'll cruise to cabela's in reno since we have a friends and family coupon. i repainted my ar and like it a whole lot better. i repainted my helmet to match while i was at it. taking my 45 for plinking around with, and the shovel my dad dug out for me to put in my truck, it's an army issued one stamped 1945! pretty cool. my dad's a real ham so he grabbed my hunting knife and went into combat mode... too funny. anyways, i hope to have some carnage pics to post when i get back. ya'll have a great weekend! i know i will.

those look just fine...what colors and leaf pattern did you use? i want to camo mine, just dont wanna screw it up and have to take off all the paint

Cool camo job. Have fun this weekend.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

i use krylon camo ultra flat. khaki base coat, then while holding redwood leaves over it i sprayed it with olive. doubled up the leaves and sprayed some brown accents. then a super light mist of black to add some depth. it looks way different in person, more 3d.ready for war? hell yeah, i'm taking out every last one of them commie squirrels i can find! welp, no prairie dogs, ground squirrels or marmots to be seen. only thing running around were chipmunks and golden mantled ground squirrels, but they were right by the road and not worth getting the gun out of the case to shoot at. we had a great time though, beautiful scenery and good trails to ride the quads on. here are a couple of pics for ya'll. wish i had some carnage pics but i don't.myself in a staged action shot.
