My son and I did our first Rabbit hunt with the new season, The Rabbits weren't so big but there sure were plenty of them out. We had a few really small ones sighted in, but we can wait till they get bigger.Tony and Son

I am making a shoulder mount from one of them, got it all salted right now, going to pick up some Borax tomorrow. This will be my second attempt at a rabbit mount, so far so good. I want to make a nice photo/shoulder mount for him and yes me too.

This will be my second attempt at a rabbit mount, so far so good.

For any help on the mounting projects, send CoyoteHuntress a PM... She's an Excellent taxidermist, with much of her work shown on this forum. Just a thought and good luck. And good job on your hunt & pics :signgreatreport3kg: Frankp.s. don't forget about the "member's storys & pics thread" for some of your hunting episodes.

Way to go. :1106:
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

boy, do I feel dumb, wife always says I think about food way to muchRight, Gun, Beeman .22 with gamo Hunter pellets. All short range inside of 20 yards, I guess the Rabbits haven't seen to many hunters this early in the season.

Ok Here is the photo I made for my boy, something a little different, not taxidermy quality but hopefully something he will remember.
