I'm really likin' my Six. Better scope in the works. Liable to end up big scope with little gun screwed to the bottom of it, haha!20 yards offhand. Got out of the truck and wasn't finished loading when this guy popped up and ran a ways, then stopped to look at me, bangflop. Didn't see another jack all day, kinda disappointing. I saw about 4 cottontails, but no way in heck getting them on the run with the 4x on a pistol with that much cover. Also got the tar scared out of me 3 or 4 times by coveys of quail flushing under my feet... Hard to tell how far that is without knowing what you're looking through.....that's gotta be far west county area. Been thinking of going out west to get some cottontails....thinking of hitting up McCain....whatcha think?

You know, I've never shot a revolver before, but hitting those small targets can't be easy. Good shooting!

Nice shooting . Your doing good getting them with a six shooter.. :1106:
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Well, I can't take too much credit for the shooting. That Six is unusually accurate, and on the small targets at longer ranges, I'm shooting from some sort of rest, usually a big rock. 4x fixed scope, I think I might try the 3-9 off my Savage on it. That's looking thru the telephoto lens, don't know what the zoom is on it. 6" critter on a 5' tall rock. I paced it off best I could, got about 75 paces, figure it's probably more like 50. I was up there from 5am to 4pm. Lot of walking for not a lot of game, but I enjoyed it. Did see some cottons, but bring your shotgun. Or maybe go earlier, be ready before it gets light and get them with a rifle while they're still out.
