ok quick question went out to work on my head shot skills with the 22 lr the other day and i noticed were i saw rabbits saw no squirels but were i saw ground squirles i saw no jack rabbits is this a common thing or has anyone else seen this or had it happen to them ?

I shot a squirrel at 72 yards sitting about 8 inches away from a rabbit that was also sitting there eating the same plants. I shot a rabbit at 50 yards and when I wlaked closer to it something looked funny and there was a squirrel chewing on the dead rabbits head so I shot the squirrel too, maybe I should use rabbits for squirrel bait....lol

Ground Squirrels are cannibals. I've shot a bunch of them that were munching on pieces of their dead buddies.

hum thaw funny but weird were we saw squirrels we didnt see rabbits and vice verses but maybe we were out a little late in the morning it was getting close to noon my best squirrel shot was at about 80 yards he was perched a top a rock ill start looking for them munching on there dead buddies now
