Took the kids to DVL this morning and rented a boat(victoria was persistent that we fish on a boat)So we hit the waves and tried east of the marina and got nothing. we posted about 20 feet from the shore and saw some 2 ILBS' ers hanging out checking out our bait(both senkos and nightcrawlers) Should of known it was going to be a dry one because bass we'rent hitting. Then Victoria had to use the floating restroom so we headed south. On the way we say the honey trucks heading for the stocking dock. They dumped tons of trout, small ones, med ones. Victoria caught her first about 5min after the first truck, she felt the fight and she got hooked!. We hung out for a while and then another boat told us to head in towards the small cove, TONS OF TROUT THERE......he said kids would love it. And they did, victoria was pickem out of the water like hot cakes but we threw back as fast as she caught them. Now the litle guy would'nt move from the drivers seat of the boat. I guess he wanted to make sure that he was CPT of this boat .It was a good day for the kids.

That's GREAT! They had a wonderful time. What is DVL? I'm sure it's the lake but I'm not familiar with the abbreviation.
