I saw this and I was wondering what pellet they used to get those speeds?M-Rod

I think it needs a tune to do it with 14.3s but the shot count falls. I guess Crosman claims that becuase they encourage tuning in the instructions.

I just don't see a stock M-Rod shooting at 1000fps in .22cal at least with any accuracy or shot count to talk about. It's funny how so many gun makers always talk about how fast there gun can shoot but they never post groups at said velocities, Gammo is the worst.

If you when it is 10% humidity and 9000 ft of elevation and use Dynamic 12 grain pellets you might get it on a full fill for the first shot. LOLMy Marauder .25 gets about 820 fps with Kodiaks. With Predators it is in the upper 800s so not too far from the 900 fps advertised. A lighter pellet would do it. The trouble is it only gets about 16 good shots.

I have my .22 M-Rod shooting JSB 18.1 some where around 30-32fpe I think and I think I can get 2-3 full clips max and it drops fast after that.

Yea - I am spoiled with the 490 cc tanks on the Stubby and Condor. With the hi-flo tank/valve I get well over 60 very consistent shots. With the extreme valve about 20 shots.

I have the 400cc tank on my .22 Rapid which is shooting around 40fpe with JSB 18.1 and I can get around 60 full power shots with it. If I added the 500cc tank I could get more but that tank is bigger and heavier.Here is what they have listed on Theoben's site for a stock Rapid with 400cc tank..22cal FPE Shots 12ft/lbs 420 30ft/lbs 90 40ft/lbs 40

I tried to get a .25 LW barrel for the Condor yesterday but they are all backordered as are many of the Airforce guns. The retailers/tuners are all selling each other parts becuase of availability problems. The demand for PCPs is really skyrocking. I am glad to have the 3 guns I got.I want to try Surefire slugs with the extreme valve. They get about 110-120 fpe (around 920 fps) with the .25 6-ring 62 gr slugs and are pretty accurate at 50 yards for hunting. I will be testing a LW .308 28" barrel on the Condor with slugs starting at 70 gr in the next few weeks. I hope to get around 150 fpe for calling in a coyote.

That will be more then enough power since I have seen guys get them with .22cal

If I worked for Crossman/Benjamin and wanted a bragging velocity for one of their .22 guns, I'd use the Crossman .22 Lead Free Super Point, which is a 9.5gr, ultra high velocity, environmentally friendly lead-free pellet. At least I'd do that if I thought that sales would be increased by big numbers and that might result in in a pay raise for me.
