I picked up one of these for testing pellet accuracy to remove the shooter from the equation. You clamp or attach it to the shooting table and bungie the front down. Airforce mounts this on a scaffolding for testing their guns. They also work for low recoil powder guns and have a back rest option that doesn't lock for high powered beasts. The rear vice grips very tightly yet has thick rubber pads. It also slides forward. Heavily built out of steel (including the vise) and pretty inexpensive. How big and heavy is it?

If it was "perfect" it would sell for about $20.00. I made one that does the same thing for less than $10.00. Now that is perfect.

Stubby in the vise. The Vise gets locked to my shooting bench and the stubby gets bungie'd down on the front rest for testing.

I just shot a 1/4" 3 shot group at 40 yards with a 2600 psi fill and H&N 5.51mm 22 Baracuda 21.14gr pellets. I told Randy @ R&L Airguns if I wasn't getting a big bore long barrel for my Condor I might have stuck with this if it came out first. 
It keeps up with my Marauder 25 and Condor 22.

That is a very good looking set up you have there. I love accuracy. I went squirrel hunting yesterday and got 12 of the little buggers. All head shots. Your gun will do the same. Most of my shots were about 25 to 40 yarders. I shoot the 18.1 gram pellets in my Air Wolf and there is no doubt when you connect. They think they are so smart when they just "peek" over the pile of dirt to see what is going on. "Smile." I got you covered.

I took out a dozen sparrows 4 hours after it arrived and one at 66 yards. My next gun will be a walnut stcoked gun (Stubby is maple) but this is my field gun.

I'd like to see a photo of the $10 gun vise. Maybe I can figure a way to make one for $9.If it was "perfect" it would sell for about $20.00. I made one that does the same thing for less than $10.00. Now that is perfect.
