Went out for a little bit this late afternoon managed to get one jack.Had to make a 75 yard sneek on him.Posted Image
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Nice kill Thumper . I was waiting for someone to correct them & it was you . kinda funny . I have tried stalking them even with my rifle as I suck ass beyond 300 yrds . I did the slowest , going behind every bush I could see , to get within 200 yrds of a Jack and just as I got prone the BA***RD ran off . Killed me but I think it helps with teaching me patience & the ability to use cover . Andy

I've been SEEING alot of jacks out there thumper.Fruit is getting ripe in the cherries,and the peaches are getting thinned right now,alot of mowing going on in the orchards. One of my farmer friends even got me a depredation permit for shooting over a newly planted orchard.He claims I've saved him a hundred trees a week.
