Got his baby in Friant, CA today. Measured at 15 inches.

Ya, only one. I was using a 3 inch floating trout worm from Berkley, green color, with Berkley Gulp floating salmon egg, red color, on the bottom. Topped it off with some trout scent. 4lb Stren florescent blue mono, and a #8 hook. Got him on the 1st cast. Carolina Rig with a 1/4 ounce sliding sinker and 16 inches of leader to the swivel. The water on the San Joaquin River is so hi I was expecting much, so I think im lucky for the one.

Any keeper is a good one. Try some red worms or night crawlers are my favorite with high water.

When I saw the water was high, I mean the underwater structure were concrete pick-nick benches

It might be high water but it gets the fish actively feeding. Just don't snag a picnic bench, they don't fight much but are a bear to reel in.

That looks darn good! I didn't take pictures of my dinner because I had liver and onions and didn't want to gross everyone out.

Oh yea!!! Love liver and onions. My wife hates it so I don't have it at home. But come hunting season, got some buddies in the same boat so we have the liver and onions together.

Grandpa use to cook liver and onions and I love them lol, Tried cooking it for dinner once for me and my wife. I Almost got killed lol
