We got about twenty today. The furthest with the Air Ranger at 77 yards, closest at 53 yards. The HPA 2250 was punching them at 30 to 40 yards. The P1 was hitting them to 25 yards and everything in between. All and all it was a great day, a little breezy in the morning, but not bad. It settled down about noon. Can't wait to get out there again, especially when it warms up some and their really moving aboutPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Rich I changed your photos to do away with the links. Just use the [IMG] link on Photobucket and you can see the pictures instead of clicking on another link.I like your P1 I have one in .22cal myself.

Thanks John! Yep, I really like the P1. Nailed that gs at 25yds. As you can tell from the pic, right in the ear (lucky shot) but heck, I'll take it. :smiley-innocent-halo-yellow:

Rich, what red dot are you using on the P1? I'm still shooting mine open sights but would like to get something else.

Just an inexpensive Tasco, works fine and holds zero.

Thanks I think I'll pick one up. I use the gun mainly for English Sparrows stealing my chickens food. :smiley-innocent-halo-yellow:

Hey RA, thanks. That place is great. I used to go to Cedarville for gs's, a pretty long drive. This place is an hour away which makes it VERY convenient. It ranged between 37 to 45 degrees while we were there. I'll probably drag my trailer up there sometimes and have a few extended stays. Maybe we'll run into each other when your able to make it.

Elkguys, the rifle ia a Daystate Air Ranger .22cal 50fpe (depending on weight of pellet used). One with the black stock is a custom built .22cal 2250.The pistol is a Beeman P1 .177cal.As for prices for the ranch, I believe ratassassin answered your question by providing the link above. Thanks RA!

Hey Jovan, not too bad considering I used to go to Wyoming every year for a week to shoot prarie dogs. That would cost me 1000 to 1200. This place is just a little closer. An hour and fifteen minutes from my house.

For the spring access it's 900 + 13.00 for insurance. That gets you in I believe from Feb 7th through August 28th 2011. You can get by with two wheel drive if you stay off the dirt roads and walk in. Some roads are in pretty good shape but that can change depending on weather conditions. Im an hour and fifteen minutes south of Tejon. Hope that helps.

I think I will stick to my private ranches for free that I can shoot all year long and use any ammo I want.
