After going out and using up some of my shotgun ammo, I realize that I am running pretty low. Due to tight funds, I am looking for a less expensive alternative for 12 gauge non-lead to use on coyotes. The $3.50 per shell for Dead Coyote is pretty steep.Steel is out, but I was kinda looking into some waterfowl loads in Hevi-shot? They run about 28 bucks a box of 25 on Midwayusa, most are seasonal runs though.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have a box of 3" goose loads for bobcat/fox that will probably work well on yotes too. They are 3" 1-3/8oz of BB's @ 1450fpsAnything size BB or bigger should do it.There is a Remington Home Defense load of BB's that is pretty reasonable I think.You said no steel, but I think there is someboody making a load of steel T shot that should work too.
