Hey guys I have been surfing around and found on JHO "General - July 1, 2010 through January 30, 2011 for cottontail, brush, pygmy and snowshoe rabbits. Black-tailed and White-tailed Jackrabbit season remains open year round.Archery and Falconry - Jan 31 2010 - Mar 20 2011."However when I read the DGF regulations it stated"(a) General Season and Area: The general season shall open on July 1 extending through the last Sunday in January, and shall be open statewide except for that area described in (d) below."(b ) Falconry Rabbits and Hares. Brush, cottontail and pigmy rabbits and varying hare (snowshoe) may be taken with raptors only during the general rabbit and hare seasons and as follows: The season shall open on the first Monday following the close of the general season extending through the third Sunday in March, and shall be open statewide except for that area described in (d) below."I do not see where it talks about archery season, just falconry. Is there an archery season or is it just during the General Season that rabbits can be taken by bow. Thanks for the help clearing this upBrett

There is only General and Falconry, there is no arhery season. You can use your bow during general seasonhttp://dfg.ca.gov/re...upland-sum.html
