I posted that I went duck hunting on Dec 26th/27th and we got our limit. Decided to leave this past Thurs and hunt Friday morning back up near Colusa and we had another good day. We all three hit our duck limit + two snow geese in the mix. Strange with the colder weather, we thought we'd also have dense fog on Friday, but it wasn't all that thick and it was a little more difficult bringing the birds into the decoys. I may try and go one last time before the season closes, but at this point after 2 hunts we have 47 birds. We've decided to get them all done in peppersticks and sausages...although our guide made some duck poppers and shared them on Friday morning and they were delicious!!...I'll try and post my dec and this past weeks pictures this weekend...oh, and the guide told me that me and my buddy made the cover of the latest Western Outdoor news letter, so if you have it you'll see us with the stringer of birds.
Another decent day
