Finally did some duck hunting after 28 yrs absence from the sport. Went with a buddy out to Colusa area on a guided hunt - relatively cheap compared to my other hunts. Private land, very good blind, decoys, dogs and two great callers. Apparently the ducks have been quiet the past week, but today we got into some and saw a number of them flying overhead. Ended up with the limit today... Couple of snow geese, couple of mallards, a few teal, couple of pintails, couple of spoonies... All in all a very great day in the blind. Planning to hit it in another week hoping the weather gets cold again up north -- want to try for a honker!I'll post the stringer set shortly...
Decent day

Glad to hear it worked out well for you Randy. With all of the water the birds have been really spread out.If you want a honker bring a fishing net and I'll take you to a local park.
