That's alright Shoot-it. Oh yeah, I think a .30-06 is a pretty big gun too. :P At least it has one of the widest selection of bullets to choose from.

Thanks all.

Great pictures! Did you have any mounts done?

Everything was shipped back to the states 2 weeks ago and now at my Taxidermist. Over a year just to get the hides, skull's & horns back. It's a very long process. I can now tell the Taxidermist what to start on & hold off on depending on the size of my wallet. The Kudu S/M, Gemsbuck S/M & Zebra hide are top priority.

I just love that warthog you killed those tusks are awesome! you going too mount the head. That hog could have riped your leg up really good....with those tusks.SJ I think 300 and up is a big gun . It being a weatherby its a hotter round than a standard 30-06.

Realy nice . great pictures.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

That's great! Reckon you'll spend as much on taxidermy as you did on the trip? I worked taxidermy for a couple of years (part time just to get good enough to do my own stuff) and the guy i worked for would get himself invited to Africa for free safaris all the time if he would take care of all the taxidermy for the group. a good deal for all involved IMO!

Excellent Trophyman!!!You are on you?re way to a hunt of a lifetime. Make sure when you are in ?Jo Berg? that you pick a night (usually when you arrive or the night before you depart) and eat at the ?Carnivore?. It will be the best dining experience you will ever have in you?re lifetime. They say it?s rated #50 in the world. Whatever you want, as much as you want. You?re PH should be able to get you there no problem. By the way, The Carnivore serves more than what's on the menu. Here are a couple links to the menu... http://www.simonandb.../carnivore.html]http://www.tulipweb.com/travel_articles/carnivore.htmlAlso, I spent about $300 American on some original Kenya Spears and Axe?s, at what they call ?The Selling Place?. This is equivalent to a small Orange County Swap Meet. Anyhoo, I picked up some killer stuff that would look great on the walls next to my trophies. If you would like specific directions, just PM me and I?ll dig them up. Again, you?re PH should know all about the place.Take alot of pictures and enjoy youself. You?re in for one hell of a hunt!
