I've had this old WWII Inglis High Power sitting in the back of the safe for almost 20 years. Not being much of a 9mm guy so it just sat. I finally decided to clean it up and make it serviceable. I'm still waiting on a trigger pin, Pachmayer grips and I'll finish the sights in white for better visibility on dark targets. I removed the magazine disconnector and cleaned the trigger up some. I used Duracoat in semi gloss (HK Black) on the slide and the frame is matte FDE. I think it came out pretty good.Before...Posted ImagePosted ImageAfter...Posted ImagePosted Image

Wow - what a difference in Before/After pics! Nice job.

Thanks Kevin and others! I have about 16 hours into it give or take. My co-worker is bringing in his grandfathers old rifle for me to take a look at. I guess he had a habit of painting things with whatever he had lying around. I hear it has a good coating of barn red on the stock :welcomeani: I also refinished a Marlin mdl 60 Glenfield not too long ago. I forgot to take "before" pics  I used reverse electrolysis to remove the rust and junk from the barrel before stripping.Posted ImagePosted Image
