My son got himself a couple of Jacks, the biggest one 6-1/2 pounds he nailed while it was running away at about 35 yrds. The best part of the day was that smile, already sent a photo to the grandparents.Attached File  1.jpg   24.62K   28 downloads

I am also constantly working on survival skills. Hunted as a boy for squirrel, rabbit and some upland birds. I am a farmer by trade and I work for an organic farm founded on ethical work practices.

That is just about what I remember feeling after my first jacks. Especially when they are on the run. Nothing quite like it! Great Job!

Great job! It looks like he got them with an airgun too, which is even tougher on the run.

Thats great . Those are some big ones. Good shooting also.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Congrats! It is amazing how much fun can be had and how much we can learn by shooting air rifles.
