Old boy on that forum where you get the Point Blank software worked up a load fer his swift that topped out at just over 5,000 fps. Course, that was with a 35 gr bullet And I'd bet that it took a gallon of Sweet's to clean that bore after a string of test firings. He claimed a 5/8 inch group. Dang that's tempting to try. But, I could probably jest drop a 15 gr, 17 cal bulet in a 17 remington and get that velocity.Do you think that is worthwhile..A17Shooter

A guy on Varminter got some 17gr V-max's and shot them in his .17 MachIV.

Was that some of the batch that MidSouth was selling? What kind of velocity?? I tried some 15 gr bergers in my 17 AH and got 4096fps with a light load out of an 18" barrel.
