Buying a Rifle off the Net ?

Is it worth it to buy a Rifle off the net.Here is my senerio:I'm going to buy an H&R Ultra Varmint in .223 of coarse :) The Best local price I've found so far is:Rifle = $289.95Tax = $23.00Dros = $35.00Total = $348.00So far the best price Ive seen on the Net:Rifle = $240.00Shipping = $25.00Dros = $35.00Total = $300.00But now I would have to pay an FFL to receive it:How do guy's buy off the Net and save $There must be a Some elusive secret :)

Sterling I've found it to be the way you presented it. That's why I've only purchased one that way. I've been able to go to a shop and just have them order it for less. Unless you know someone with an FFL willing to do it for free. I know everyone has to make something to survive. I just feel better knowing if there's a problem I can take it back too. :)
