Reminds me of the age old question of...Does a bear sheet in the woods? Coyote, as well as ground squirrrel, crow, woodchuck, coon, possum and skunk are very tasty when properly prepared. There are many recipes available here when doing a search. There are a variety of pre canned sauces and packaged 'helpers' that will provide you a quick, yet excellent meal. If time is available, I prefer to make it from scratch. Basically boil the meat off the coyotes bones, Lightly fry up the meat in butter milk and coon fat making an odiferous gravied meal that will bring the neighbors out of their houses to see what's cooking and whom's doing it. I like mine over toast with some egg toppers.
Just wondering if anyone eats these things?

Excellent visual aid John....Of both what the coyote meal looks like when cooked; prior to eating.....and what it looks like afterwards during bouts of projectile vomiting. Most likely tastes about the same too

There are some communities in Southern California where you will never spot a stray dog or cat roaming the neighborhoods. I'm just sayin'.
...as far as eating a dog / cat in china / vietnam , I was told that to some " degree " they are kept & harvested for the purpose of food . they know what they have been eating . Back in my old hood some Somoans or Tongans were caught for BBQing dogs . they did the pit covered with palm prawns . Lots of smoke . Neighbors called FD . upon investigating , they found them " preparing " 2 more dogs in the garage & FD called Police . was told they got tickets . probably cruelty or something . friends that did cock fight only got cited for cruelty too .
