Anyone use a jerk line to get movement in their decoys? Im gonna make my own jerk line setup and was wondering if there were a lot of other guys doin this, and what kind of success theyre having. Also there are some really cool jerk rigs out there for sale, anyone use one of these. heres a link to a 1 min video showing how jerk rig works, this video is using a for sale jerk line rig made by rig'emright.com. theres a DIY article on DU website for anyone like me who wants to make their own.Jerk Line Video

My partner and I use a jerk rig. It is real nice on calm days to put some ripples and movement in your decoys. Ducks definitely get very interested in the movement and will come in to take a closer look. I haven't seen any birds completely finish cause of the rig, but to get them to look it works well.

great question, and i amreally intrigued on what you design!! It seems like this type of equipment is a great DIY project so you can personalize it for your blind/hunt setup.
