I haven't worn them in hears but I couldn't get my fat but into my old BDU's ( No wounder I'm like 60 pounds heavier). So I went out and purchased some brand new Universal Digital Camo BDU's and Boonie Cap. Now I was woundering with all this neeto new Camo I have, Should I wear my Blaze orange hat and Vest?I know It's Optional in California but I'm slightly periniod if I don't wear both some one will either shoot me in arse or the last thing I will ever see is someones muzzle flash about 200 yards infront of me from behind some bushes. How many of you wear the "here Iam shoot me/Please don't shoot me" blaze orange?Do you wear full blaze orange or Just top, just hat, just hat and top?Do you prefure Solid or stick camo blaze orange?

WAY too many crazy folks here in CA for me to go with out wearing it. Those guys will shoot atanything!I have also carried it with me when I hiked in before sun up and put it in a tree or draped it over something next to me to mark my location for approaching hunters.

Depends. On public land especially during deer season I would say that it is a must. Generally during deer season even on private land I try and at least wear a read had and avoid camo. Private land the rest of the year I don't worry about it as much.Jason

When I was out saturday I went with vest only then Hat only. Both times I got that paraniod feeling I was sitting in someones crosshairs. The only time I really feel confertable is when I have the vest and hat on. Even with both there are times when I'm moving threw heavy brush I feel like some one is going to take a shot at me just becuase they hear me really close or a I may suprise them. (I'm fairly silent when I walk)

At the very least wear a Hat. Where I was at this weekend I saw only 1 person not wearing some kind of orange and with the terain I didn't see him until he was right up on me. I saw many hunters shooting through brush for what they though was a deer. I found a great open flat grassy area I knew there would be some bucks bedded down, but I was too afraid to take a spot due to target shooters and nuts.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
