Went out with a few friends this morning looking to jump some jacks. Unfortunately only one of us had a shotgun in hand. The other two has .22wmr's. Walked a total of 4 miles and jumped a total of 13 and my buddy (with the shotgun) put one in the freezer. The funny Murphy's Law story is that my buddy with a shotgun says, hey man, take the 12 and I'll carry the .22. I said, no, you keep putting them down. Well, no less than 15 minutes later, I have jumped 4 more Jacks and all at the 15 yards or less. Well, couldn't get an accurate shot with the .22wmr. Oh well, should have taken the advice and traded out.

Ones better than none. At least you got out to play.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

That is for sure! It was my first day out since this spring. I have been so busy with work that I haven't had a chance to think about rabbits and coyotes. At least I know that all the jacks I didn't hit last year are still there! :1019:

Every boy should have two things: a dog, and a mother willing to let him have one.
