I just got stationed here in Fairfield about a month ago and want to know where I can hunt for rabbit. Coming from South Dakota and moving back to California is a hard transition when it comes to hunting! I am almost tempted to just stick with fishing with all the laws California has about hunting! If anyone knows where I can do some small game, turkey or pig hunting, let me know please. I am getting the itch to hunt again! Thanks.

Pig: Napa and Sonoma county (DGF has drawing for reservations at Lake Somona)There is ALOT of pigs in north Solano County/ South west Napa County (back side of Green Valley).... but private landTurkey, Rabbits, Coyote, Deer: Cache Creek area, Napa County Knoxville area north of Lake Berryessa

the closest place for you to hunt and fish is at Grizzly Island. They have got jack rabbits, cotton tails, pheasants............ Check it on on the webhttp://www.dfg.ca.go...nd/hunting.html
