I have been using an extra full choke with #4 buckshot for years. I now have to use lead free ammo. Which choke are you guys using with Dead Coyote ammo.I was told an extra full choke was not the proper choke for the Dead Coyote ammo. What do you think?

Get a carlsons full choke. An extra full is to much.

Extra full is fine. Or you could get a Carlsons Dead Coyote choke which is made for the Dead Coyote loads. I believe it is even tighter than an Extra Full and can be used for buckshot and turkeys too

Extra full is great if you are shooting at a distance but as Donkey said, a full choke is ideal for most situations.

I am now using a Carlson's IMP/MOD Sporting Clays choke. The Dead Coyote choke with Remington HD or Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote loads was too tight of a pattern for me at 40 yards and less. The heavier than lead hard shot patterns much tighter than lead loads do so you really don't need a real tight choke for shooting 40 yards and less.

Mod for tight stuff, full for everything else. If I was only going to run one choke, I would run a full.

I use a Kicks "Gobbling Thunder" .680 tube on my Extema2. It shoots nice dense patterns with Hevy shot "Dead Coyote" and lead #4 BUCK. Posted Image

I use Carlson's Dead Coyote full choke and I am very satisfied with its performance.
