Hey all, I am looking for a 20 gauge Mossberg 500 accu-choke barrel, but unfortunately my accountant (wife) tells me that I cannot afford one directly from the manufacturer. I currently have a fixed modified barrel for it and I need a barrel that I can change chokes. Does anyone have a source for cheaper than manufacturer/lightly used barrels? My only other shotgun is a Browning 16 gauge auto that I don't like to take into rougher terrain.

Consider having chokes installed into your barrel. I believe there is someone in your part of the country doing the work. One of the members should chime in shortly with a name. Much cheaper than buying a barrel.

Here is the first chime in, I had my Mossberg 12 GA, done here, put in the machine work for choke tubes. Cost a little under 100 bucks and the work was fine and turned around in less then a week. Tony Dhttp://www.americhoke.com/
