Just because they call it quail valley doesn't mean there is quail there. I have seen quail around hemet but I don't know where quail valley is.

I grew up in Canyon lake and quail valley was a great place to hunt quail and dove but not anymore it got way over hunted and the quail population is only about 1 or 2 coveys left. They built houses on all the good hunting ground and turned the rest into habitat conservation area.
Wither it has two legs or four it makes for a great target.USMC Semper Fidelis

How about Kentucky Ridge in Los Angeles County? I hunted quail there many years ago. Is it still an active place?I was out near a guzzler in the Ludlow (San Berdo County) area a few months back, and saw no trace of quail. However, I did hear quail.....And everyone and their Uncle is aware of quail in Imperial County....Southern California is ust over hunted...its frustrating....Any feedback from the masses?
